Les Pyrgomorphidae sont une famille d'insectes orthoptères, la seule de la super-famille des Pyrgomorphoidea[1].

Les espèces de cette famille se rencontrent en Afrique, en Océanie, dans le sud de l'Asie, dans le sud de l'Europe et en Amérique tropicale.

La tête des espèces de cette famille est cônique.
