Hebeloma

Hebeloma (nom vernaculaire français : les Hébélomes) est un genre de champignons basidiomycètes de la famille des Hymenogastraceae.

Leur nom a été tiré du grec êbe, "puberté" et loma, "bord", en référence à leur marge souvent pubescente. Aucun n'est comestible et certains peuvent causer de graves intoxications.

Il a été démontré que leur association mycorhizienne aux racines de certains arbres favorise très fortement la croissance de ces derniers[1].

Le genre, qui était jadis[Quand ?] classé parmi les Cortinariaceae, compte plusieurs centaines d'espèces dont seules quelques-unes sont courantes, notamment Hebeloma crustuliniforme. L'espèce type est Hebeloma fastibile.
