Dickeya

Dickeya est un genre de bactéries de la famille des Enterobacteriaceae. Ce genre, dont le nom est un hommage au phytopathologiste américain Robert S. Dickey, a été créé par la reclassification de 75 souches de Pectobacterium chrysanthemi et de Brenneria paradisiaca CFBP 4178[1].

Plusieurs espèces de ce nouveau genre, dont Dickeya dadantii, sont des phytopathogènes notoires[2],[3].
