Michael Ruse
Michael Escott Ruse, né le à Birmingham en Angleterre, est un philosophe canadien̺[réf. nécessaire] et un historien des sciences. Ses domaines de spécialisation sont la philosophie de la biologie et l'interaction entre science et religion.

Aujourd'hui professeur de philosophie à l'Université d'État de Floride, Ruse est connu pour son rôle dans le débat entre créationnisme et l'évolution darwinienne aux États-Unis. Il se considère à la fois comme athée et agnostique.
