Ivor Cutler

Ivor Cutler, né le et mort le , est un auteur de chansons, un écrivain, un poète et un humoriste écossais.

Biographie

Il se fait connaitre par ses prestations sur les ondes de la BBC puis tient, en 1967, le rôle du conducteur de car dans le téléfilm des Beatles Magical Mystery Tour[1]. Dans le bonus du DVD de ce film, on peut le voir interpréter, en s'accompagnant à l'harmonium, sa chanson I'm Going in a Field. Il participe également à l'enregistrement de l'album Rock Bottom de Robert Wyatt sorti en 1974, sur lequel il chante deux chansons : Little Red Riding Hood Hit the Road et Little Red Robin Hood Hit the Road, sur laquelle il joue aussi du concertina bariton[2].
