Stephen Hilbert

Stephen Hilbert est un mathématicien américain surtout connu comme coauteur du lemme de Bramble–Hilbert, qu'il a publié avec James H. Bramble en 1970[1]. La spécialité de Hilbert est l'analyse numérique[2]^,[3]. Il a été professeur de mathématiques au Ithaca College depuis 1968[4]^,[5]. De plus, il a enseigné les mathématiques à l'Université Cornell comme professeur invité durant l'année scolaire 2003–2004[6].
