Ralph Stefan Solecki

Stefan Rafael Solecki est un archéologue américain, né le à Brooklyn et mort le à Livingston au New Jersey[1].

Professeur au Smithsonian Institute, il est notamment connu pour des fouilles sur le site néandertalien de la grotte de Shanidar au Kurdistan irakien, qu'il découvre vers la fin des années 1950[2],[3],[4]. Il rejoint ensuite l'Université Columbia[5] de 1959 à 1988
