Elle est la fille de William Henry Price et Sarah Mannix, agriculteurs.
Le , elle se marie avec Charles Maude. Ils restent ensemble jusqu'à sa mort en 1943. Ils ont deux filles Joan Maude et Elizabeth Maude.
