Bandenbekämpfung

Bandenbekämpfung est un terme allemand qui signifie « combat de bandits » ou « lutte contre les bandits ». Dans le contexte de l'histoire militaire allemande, Bandenbekämpfung était une doctrine opérationnelle qui faisait partie de la lutte contre la résistance ou tout type d'insurrection dans les zones arrières des lignes de fronts. Une autre conception plus courante de Bandenbekämpfung est la guerre anti-partisane. La doctrine de « lutte contre les bandits » justifiait de cibler et d'assassiner un grand nombre de groupes, allant des guérillas armées à la population civile, en tant que « bandits » ou « membres de gangs ». Appliqué par l’Empire allemand puis par l'Allemagne nazie, il a joué un rôle déterminant dans les programmes de génocide mis en place par les deux régimes, y compris la Shoah.
