Installation clé WIFI Linksys WUSB800N_v.2

La procédure qui suit est valable pour ONEIRIC 11.10 NATTY 11.04.

Sans doute aussi pour MAVERICK 10.10 et LUCID 10.04 (Voir EN CAS D'ECHEC)

Testé sur Precise 12.04 LTS fonctionne très bien (et sans tenir compte des points concernant MAVERICK 10.10):-D

Pré-requis

Téléchargement du driver et décompression

Télécharger le driver rt3572sta à l'adresse suivante: là

Placez le fichier 2010_1215_RT3572_Linux_STA_v2.5.0.0.DPO.bz2 de préférence dans le répertoire Téléchargement.

Pour décompresser le fichier, il suffit de cliquer sur 2010_1215_RT3572_Linux_STA_v2.5.0.0.DPO.bz2 en n'oubliant pas de choisir le répertoire.

Placer le fichier obtenu: 2010_1215_RT3572_Linux_STA_v2.5.0.0.DPO de préférence dans votre Home (exemple: alain).

Modifications à apporter au driver RT3572STA

Installation du driver

  • Cette procédure sera à refaire après chaque changement de noyau
  • Elle est valable pour LUCID 10.04, MAVERICK 10.10, …

Après le redémarrage vous pourrez configurer votre WIFI en donnant la clé WPA/PSK de préférence.
Cette clé Linksys assure un très bon débit.

Pofitez bien de votre WIFI.
