Ronald Pawly

Ronald Pawly naît en 1956 à Anvers, en Belgique, ville dans laquelle il vit et travaille toujours[1]. Dès son plus jeune âge, il s'intéresse à l'histoire militaire[2].

En 1998, il publie son premier livre, The Red Lancers - en français Les Lanciers rouges, qui connaît un grand succès[2]. Depuis, il écrit de nombreux livres et articles sur l'histoire militaire, à la fois en français et en anglais[2]. Il collabore depuis plusieurs années à des documentaires[2]. Ronald Pawly est membre de plusieurs sociétés internationales pour les études napoléoniennes, et est un spécialiste du portrait militaire du XIX^e siècle[1]. Il est actuellement le rédacteur en chef de la revue française Soldats Napoléoniens[2].
