Martin Harwit

Martin Harwit (né à Prague le 9 mars 1931) est un astronome tchèco-américain qui a été directeur du National Air and Space Museum de 1987 à 1995. On note aussi son travail en astronomie infrarouge à l'université Cornell[1].

Honneurs

Il est lauréat de la Médaille Bruce en 2007 ;
l'astéroïde (12143) Harwit est baptisé en son honneur.
