Charles Torrey Simpson

Charles Torrey Simpson est un botaniste et un malacologiste américain, né le à Tiskilwa dans le comté de Bureau (Illinois) et mort le à Miami (Floride).

Biographie

Il travaille de 1899 à 1902 au National Museum of Natural History, après son départ à la retraite il s’installe dans le sud de la Floride. Il reçoit un doctorat de science honoraire à l’université de Miami en 1927.
