Testé sur Kubuntu 8.04 et PC équipé d'une prise série (et non pas via adaptateur série/USB).
[Edit 11-11-2009] Sur Ubuntu 9.10 : - Retirez “screen “Default Screen”. - La tablette est reconnue mais fonctionne mal.
Installez les 2 paquets suivants :“wacom-tools” et “xserver-xorg-input-wacom”
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-wacom wacom-tools
Ou via Synaptic / Adept.
1) On fait une copie de sécurité :
sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.conf.default
2) On edite le fichier : Soit sous Gnome :
gksudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf
Soit sous KDE :
kdesudo kate /etc/X11/xorg.conf
1) Section ServerLayout. Trouvez la section “ServerLayout” : Début : Section “ServerLayout” fin : EndSection
Y inserer :

La tablette UD II fonctionne aussi avec un adaptateur série/USB, par exemple avec le TRENDNET TU-S9 (ID 067b:2303 Prolific Technology, Inc. PL2303 Serial Port). La seule différence est le remplacement de ”/dev/ttyS0“ par ”/dev/ttyUSB0“. (SEG)
